First round draw

FC to face SV Wehen Wiesbaden in DFB-Pokal

1. FC Köln will face SV Wehen Wiesbaden in the first round of the DFB-Pokal. The draw for the round of 32 was completed on Saturday evening, with the fixtures to take place from 9th to 12th August.

1. FC Köln have been drawn to face SV Wehen Wiesbaden away from home in the first round of the 2019-20 DFB-Pokal. 2003 World Champion, Nia Künzer was the one to complete the draw alongside DFB Vice-President, Peter Frymuth.

The tie will take place in early August, between 9th to 12th August. An exact date will be confirmed in due course. The following weekend will mark the start of the 2019-20 Bundesliga campaign.

SV Wehen Wiesbaden were promoted to 2. Bundesliga after winning the promotion play-off with FC Ingolstadt 04 in May. FC faced SVWW last season during the international break in September, with the game ending 1:1.
