Long-term contract for Tim Lemperle

1. FC Köln are planning for the future with Tim Lemperle. The attacker from the FC youth academy has signed a professional deal until 2023 – with the option for a further year.

1. FC Köln are planning for the squad next season with Tim Lemeprle. The 18-year-old has signed a long-term contract until 2023 – with the option for a further year.

Through his strong performances for the under-19s, the winger managed to earn a spot in the first-team squad for the Benidorm training camp. Lemperle also scored in his first friendly game for Markus Gisdol’s team, as he fired home against Sporting Charleroi.

“Tim has a lot of potential to develop, we see that in every training session. He is quick, good in one-on-ones and is strong with the ball at his feet. We are convinced that he can establish himself in the first-team,” said Markus Gisdol.

“I’m delighted to have signed my first professional deal at 1. FC Köln. I feel really at home in the city, the FC fans and the stadium are super. I’m really looking forward to working in the first-team and the challenges ahead,” said Tim Lemperle.

Tim Lemperle was born on 5th February 2002 in Frankfurt. The under-18 Germany international started out at TuS Makkabi Frankfurt, before heading to the FSV Frankfurt and 1. FSV Mainy 05 youth teams. Since the summer of 2017, Lemperle has been in the FC academy and has since developed into a youth international.
