Hoppe hot streak

Schalke ended their long wait for a Bundesliga win in their last home game. The four-nil victory over TSG Hoffenheim saw Hoppe grab a hat-trick and Amine Harit have a hand in all four goals. It was the first time that Harit had been involved in four goals in one match.

Salif Sané is set to return to the Schalke squad for the game against FC, which would be a major boost for the hosts. No defender in the Bundesliga has won a higher percentage of tackles than the Senegalese international (72%).
